In 2003, the Komen Foundation celebrated the 20th anniversary of the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation Race for the Cure®, the largest series of 5K runs/fitness walks in the world. Nearly 1.4 million people are expected to participate in more than 100 races in 2004.
The Komen Race for the Cure® Series raises significant funds and awareness for the fight against breast cancer, celebrates breast cancer survivorship, and honors those who have lost their battle with the disease.
Summer Salute 2005 (North State Bank and Hospice of Wake County):
$100,000 was raised at last year's event to
Support Hospice of Wake County. As in 2004, Sonscape Communications will be one of many sponsors for Summer Salute 2005.

Abbeygails Closet (Women's Center of Wake County):
Sonscape Communication's recently donated
design services to create and develop a corporate
brochure for Abbbeygail's Closet. "The goal was to create a professional and fun image to represent Abbeygail's overall mission and attitude."
Abbeygail's Closet is a non-profit thrift store that provides fiscal support to the programs and services of the Women's Center of Wake County. Abbeygail's Closet specializes in upscale, name brand women's and children's previously owned clothing.
